Family owned since 1973

In 1973, William and Robert Roland founded Roland Antique Gallery, Inc. Serving the United States and Europe, the Roland brothers piloted a respected and renowned wholesale antique outlet, specializing in traditional fine and decorative arts. Over the decades, Roland became a name synonymous with integrity and quality. Billy and Robert gained a reputation for being forthright dealers; flexible, resourceful, and unafraid of any size consignment or purchase. To this day, the Roland brothers, their families, and their associates remain fixtures of the downtown decorative and fine art market; an institution with over forty years of experience and trust.

In 2010, Roland Antiques embarked on a new endeavor as Roland Auctions NY. Specializing in estate sales large and small, our monthly auctions have become a staple event for dealers, decorators, and retail buyers alike. In 2018 Roland Auctions relocated to Long Island’s North Shore, the historic “Gold Coast.” Our auctions are presented in our intimate gallery space. In addition to monthly estate sales, Roland conducts multiple specialized and single-owner sales throughout the year.

From the desk of Bill and Rob Roland

For more than four decades, we have been a reliable and trusted trade source to the antiques marketplace. Whether buying or selling, we have enjoyed the good fortune of many loyal customers. We sell throughout America and internationally, exporting fine objects to dealers and collectors the world over.

In October of 2010, Roland Antiques became Roland Auctions NY. Since then, we have held monthly auctions of hundreds of lots. The auction has brought with it exciting new possibilities for our business, the business of building relationships. Fine and decorative arts, furnishings, jewelry, collectibles, and quality objects of all types have filled our sales, and each month brings a new landmark sale for our auction gallery.

We are pleased to offer these fine objects to designers, collectors, and the public.

We would like to thank all of you who have helped us get where we are today, and invite everyone who shares a passion and enthusiasm for art and antiques to visit our new location and peruse our fantastic inventory of unique and special objects.

With warm regards,

Bill and Rob Roland

During the 18th century Franciscan friar Junipero Serra Ferrer established a chain of missions from the Baja peninsula northward through what is now California, extending the Spanish colonies into North America. He was instrumental in helping to push Spanish influence northward from Mexico to counter the southward push by Russians from Alaska. He was beatified September 15, 1988 by Pope John Paul II, and canonized by Pope Francis on September 23rd, 2015 in Washington, DC.
